I provide physiotherapy for children and adults across several fields: orthopedic, respiratory, and oncological. I build every treatment plan personally, based on the assessment and your specific needs.
No - for private treatment you don’t need a doctor’s referral to book an appointment; you can book directly with me. A referral may be required only if you want to claim reimbursement from private insurance, depending on your policy terms.
Treatments take place at my clinic in Petah Tikva, and home-visit treatment is also available - whatever is convenient and right for you.
The first assessment session lasts about 60 minutes, allowing an in-depth look at your medical background and a comprehensive functional examination. Regular treatment sessions afterward last about 45 minutes.
The first assessment session (about 60 minutes) costs 500 ₪, and regular treatment sessions (about 45 minutes) cost 400 ₪ per session. Some private insurance plans offer partial reimbursement - see the question about insurance reimbursement.
At the assessment session I conduct an in-depth interview about your medical history and the complaint that brought you in, followed by a comprehensive functional examination - at rest and in motion. At the end, I explain the diagnosis and the recommended treatment plan, including expectations for the length of rehabilitation.
Some private insurance plans (supplementary health insurance) reimburse physiotherapy treatments, usually between 12-20 sessions a year, depending on the policy terms. It’s recommended to check the exact terms with your insurance company before starting treatment.
It’s best to come in comfortable clothes that allow free movement, similar to workout clothes. No special equipment is needed - any details relevant to your specific treatment will be given in advance when booking the session.
The number of treatments needed varies from person to person, depending on the nature of the problem, its severity, and your personal pace of recovery. An initial estimate can be given after the first or second session, based on the assessment and the initial response to treatment. Doing the home exercises I give you consistently significantly shortens the recovery process.
Please give notice of a cancellation or rescheduling as early as possible, ideally at least 24 hours in advance, to allow coordination with other patients. At the moment I do not charge a cancellation fee - I trust you to let me know as soon as you can.
Yes. When treating a minor (under 18), a parent or an adult chaperone on the parent’s behalf must be present throughout the treatment.
