Knee

The knee is one of the most heavily loaded joints in the body, taking part in almost every step, jump, or change of direction. Because of these loads, knee pain can appear at any age: from athletes to people who don’t train at all.

Here you’ll find information about the most common conditions in the area.

How I treat knee pain

Treatment does not start with exercises. It starts with understanding exactly where the pain comes from. In the first session I check how your knee actually performs: walking, stairs, bending and load. Only then do we build a plan that fits you.

Full movement assessmentGait, strength, range and load patterns, not just "where it hurts".
Focused manual therapyJoint and soft-tissue work based on the findings, not a fixed template.
Graded return to functionA progressive plan up to stairs, running and sport, with measurable goals.

Sometimes yes, but it’s important to match the type of activity and the load to the condition.

Not in every case. The clinical examination often provides meaningful information already at the first stage.

In some cases, appropriate treatment can improve function and reduce the need for further interventions.

When to get checked
